Best oral presentation at the EARSeL Symposium
Congratulations to Dr. Mirela Beloiu Schwenke for receiving the Young Scientist Award for the best oral presentation (1st prize) at the 42nd EARSel Symposium.
The 42nd Symposium of EARSeL (European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories) was held in Bucharest, Romania from 3-6 July 2023. Our lab member Dr. Mirela Beloiu Schwenke presented her work titled "Automatic Detection of Tree Species in Heterogeneous Forests Using RGB Imagery and Deep Learning" and received great feedback.
