We warmly welcome Paloma Julía as new PhD student in the group.

by Ariane Hangartner

Paloma Juliá holds a BSc in environmental biology from the university of chile (Chile) and a Msc in environmental sciences with a major in forest and landscape management from ETH. For her master work, Paloma worked with the Forest Ecology group studying tree migration through complex landscapes under different climate change scenarios using the LANDCLIM model in Swiss catchments.

As a member of the FORM group, Paloma will work on assessing uncertainty in projecting long-term forest landscape dynamics, focusing on natural disturbances and climate impacts.
