Welcome Adelin Nicorescu!

We warmly welcome Adelin Nicorescu as new PhD student in the group!

Adelin Nicorescu holds a BSc in forestry from Transilvania University of Brasov (UNITBV) and two MScs in European Forestry. One MSc degree from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) and one from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). For his master thesis, Adelin worked as a project assistant at the Austrian Research Center for Forests (BFW), where he developed his thesis on leaf morphology in white oak species complex in Southeast Europe.
In the FORM group, he will focus on integrating risk, different interactions between risk (cascading effect), highly improbable events, and complex network theory in the forecasting of forest growth and development.
