Welcome Luca Ferrari!
We warmly welcome Luca Ferrari as new scientific assistant to the group.
Luca Ferrari holds a BSc and a MSc in environmental engineering from Politecnico di Milano. During his master’s, he focused on the mathematical modelling of environmental systems.
He worked for one year as a research assistant at Politecnico di Milano. In this role, he performed a robustness analysis to extract robust climate policies in conditions of deep uncertainty. He also developed artificial neural networks to simulate and forecast air pollution.
In the FORM group, he will focus on developing tree species models to determine areas at risk of forest stress under changing climate conditions.
