Welcome Alexandra Dias!
We warmly welcome Alexandra Dias as new GIS assistant to the Forest Resources Management group!
Alexandra Dias holds a Master's degree in Geographic Engineering from the University of Lisbon (Portugal).
She started her career as a GIS consultant at Esri Portugal, where she had the opportunity to work on projects in different industries, mainly in spatial data analysis and to conduct Esri-certified training.
She then moved to the aeronautical industry, where she conducted training and supported both airborne and ground-based spatial data systems.
She currently works in parallel as a GIS specialist at LUUCY, a 3D platform for architecture and real estate development.
Alexandra will support the FORM group by supervising students in all aspects of teaching within the GIS team and providing GIS support for projects within the group.
