We warmly welcome Amanda Mathys as senior assistant to the Forest Resources Management group!

Amanda Mathys completed her PhD in Forestry at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where she predicted species responses to climate extremes across Western North America. Since then, she has worked at the Center for International Forestry Research Organization in Indonesia and at the Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL. Amanda will support the FORM group by developing research initiatives for forestry applications in the digital age, supervising students and teaching courses.
