We warmly welcome Michel Scheggia as a new scientific assistant to the Forest Resources Management group!

Michel Scheggia obtained his Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich, majoring in Forest and Landscape management. His thesis was about drought-induced mortality of beech trees in the region of Basel. He joined the FORM group after his internship at the alpine forest department of the canton of Bern. As scientific assistant in the group, he will help with teaching, coordinating student projects, communicating with cantonal authorities and assisting in the VR forest project.
